perspective practice

like the title says, practicing perspective a bit with some headshots. more Nephilim filler

first, Chamuel. I like how this one came out
and those used to be wings on her back

and second is Abbadon. not sure i like how this one came out quite as much
he looks like such a smug bastard (which he is lol). he also has a partial glasgow

both were unreferenced (a habit i need to break)

before and after

it should not have taken this long for a new post D8
in an attempt to make up for the wait have some multiple images

trying to get some sort of idea for how a few of my characters change over time.
quick ideas of how they might look pre-soldat and trying to actually make it look like theres an age difference post-during soldat. (i need to actually make a post explaining some of this sometime...)

first is Lucinda / "Sin"
next is Bain / "Maverick"
he's the only one thats ever had any sort of character designing for how he's look pre-soldat before this

and last we have Mikhail / Mishka
somehow he doesn't seem right with both arms. still need to desice how/when he actually loses it

need to actually come up with a soldat uniform for them (right now i just keep using variations of the outfits they were originally designed with)
*tangent*

long overdue

time to resurrect this blog before the zombies get it

have some (mostly) finished goodies for you patience

a little something I was working on for one of my end-of-semester projects/assignments. It was part of a short animation about my drawing process, which can be viewed here: http://fruitbird.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d34ilv7

so yeah, Loki/Wraith's always good to fall back on when I can't think of anything to draw lol

some one-armed filler

this post was too long in coming...

have some more Mishka.

This started out as more practice drawing his lack of arm and ended up turning into having fun playing with the pose.

The hat because, A. ushankas are cool and 2. in my head canon he's from Soviet Russia (which more explains the crest and not the actual hat). So pretty much just because

some more redesigns

some more character redesign sketches, this time with Howl.

the top left is pretty much taken from his original design (he basically had a werewolf body. The top right was his unofficial human version, designed by a friend.

I like the bottom left one with the little mane-ish thing.
if i don't use it for Howl I might use it for Ly (another experiment, who happens between Howl and Wraith)

still trying to decide how human he should or shouldn't look. He's supposed to be the first in the set of experiments, so he'd probably be a bit less human looking than the others.

a WIP and a Mishka

work in progress
will be a reference for a slight revamp of Loki/Wraith's markings

sketch for a possible new character. He started as a random character here: http://flawedremnant.deviantart.com/#/d2wc0fi and he’s sort of spawned an alternate version that being adapted into Aesir. He’s missing his right arm, need to work on what that looks like without clothing. Keeping the name Mishka for him (as a nickname, full name is Mikhail)

And this pic has been sitting in my computer needing to be resized and posted for close to two weeks because I’m a horrible person; sorry for the delay
