massive upload ahoy!

first up is a couple sketches of Vili, now that he actually has a face.

nest is the result of me getting bored and drawing everyone (everyone who currently has a character design anyway) as a chibi. and put some personality traits/ quirks/ general info with them, instead of being super vague like usual.

small update is small

some more working out Vidar's new design. and some partially cut off notes to myself lol.

don't really have much else to add this time, other than the internet apparently didn't want this update to happen.

twins and tangents

what's this, more new faces? they would be Huginn (left) and Muninn (right).

now for a small explanation tangent;
the Aesir experiments- Vidar, Skoll, Hel, Loki, and Skade- previously had the designations of units 01-05 to indicate which prototype/experiment they were (these designations haven't been used on the blog). this has recently been changed slightly to account for there probably being more prototypes/experiments interspersed in there.

Generation 01- first round of prototypes: where Vidar fits in, along with others that most likely won't survive to the main point of the story (once they're eventually spawned). eventually discontinued due to a lack of satisfactory results.
Generation 02: Skoll, and eventually others. also discontinued.
- the first two generations attempted to mix human and animal genes. discontinued when the resulting experiments couldn't successfully pass as human/desired traits or abilities weren't achieved.
Generation 03: Hel, Vili (no design for him yet). this generation used more human subjects but tried to artificially produce psychokinetic abilities. ended because successful results were too hit-or-miss.
Generation 04: Loki, and probably others. final prototype round and a mixture of the forst three generations, eventually discontinued when results plateau.
Generation 05: Skade, Huginn & Muninn. first final/non-prototype round.

hopefully that either made a little bit of where the madness is going, or atleast placed some of the characters in relation to each other.

This time we have Skoll. He's a wolf-bird hybrid, just getting more human thrown into the mix to update him to match the others.

no actual Aesir update tonight. I've been busy working on some things for a local art sale and finishing my costume for a convention next weekend. so to keep the blog from going dead again enjoy some of the zodiac cards i've been working on, because who doesn't like squishy cute things :)


jsut as a heads up; there might not be an update next week because of the convention but we'll see, might be able to manage early/late post
